CINCINNATI -- Trey Hendrickson's trade request appears to be falling on deaf ears.
On Saturday, Bengals coach Zac Taylor addressed Hendrickson's desire to go to a new team as he continues to seek a long-term deal.
"We want Trey to play here next year for us," Taylor said. "He's gonna play here next year for us."
News of Hendrickson's trade request was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday, one day before the NFL draft. After news broke, Hendrickson's agent said that the Pro Bowl edge rusher is looking for a long-term deal with the Bengals, one the team indicated it wasn't going to give.
