It would appear the Dax Hill debate is settled.

After a rocky first season as a starting safety in 2023, the Cincinnati Bengals are now working Hill at cornerback in 2024.

Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed the news Saturday following the 2024 NFL Draft.

Dax Hill will rep at cornerback this offseason, coach Zac Taylor said. The 2022 first-round pick was a free safety last season.

This helps explain why the Bengals took Ole Miss safety Daijahn Anthony on Day 3, as the safety room looked a little too crowded for him, but that’s not the case now that Hill is a cornerback.
